How much is car insurance going to cost for a 17 year old female with State Farm?
April 29th, 2008 | by carinsurance |Me asked:
I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how much it would cost for car insurance. I’m 17 and just got my license about 2 weeks ago. My parents are gonna put me down as a part time driver. We have State Farm.
We will have full coverage.

Insurance companies base their rates not only on age, but distance you suspect you’ll drive per month, what kind of car you drive, your location (city / rural) and sometimes rates depend on whether you’ve taken safe driver classes, etc. This question isn’t an easy one to answer. Suffice to say, it won’t be cheap.. they stick it to you until you’re 25 years old.

Insurance varies from State to State.
It all depends on different factors (like if you are going to be an occasional operator or primary operator, how many discounts you are eligible for… like good student discount, driver training, steer clear and so on)
The best answer I have for you, is to have your parents call their State Farm Agent and get a quote from the agent.

If you call your agent they will be able to accurately let you know the cost.
Also if you are a good student (3.0 average or high) make sure that your parents lets your agent know. A good student discount is a huge discount with some companies.
